A regular meeting of the Working Group of the CIS Council of Ministers of Justice was held at the CIS Executive Committee on 8 September 2026 as part of the realisation of the Roadmap for the implementation of the Concept for the Creation of the Unified Digital System for Information Exchange among the Ministries of Justice of the CIS Member States.
The meeting was attended by representatives of the Ministries of Justice and other interested government bodies from Armenia, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan, as well as officials from the CIS Executive Committee and the Belarusian Notary Chamber.
The initiative to create the Unified Digital System was proposed by the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Uzbekistan. It was approved at the 19th meeting of the CIS Council of Ministers of Justice in Minsk on 25 June 2025.
The specially established Working Group is currently implementing the measures envisaged by the Roadmap for the implementation of the Concept for the Unified Digital System. One of the stages of the Concept is the approval of the draft technical specification developed by the Uzbek side.
The inter-ministerial digital platform will help create the conditions necessary for the development and wide use of cross-border digital document management between justice authorities, thereby increasing the efficiency and productivity of legal assistance throughout the CIS.
The participants agreed to finalise the documents governing the creation of the Unified Digital System. The next meeting of the Working Group is scheduled for 5 October 2026.
The results of the activities of the Working Group will be considered during a regular meeting of the CIS Council of Ministers of Justice, which will be held on 10 November 2026 in Yerevan under the chairmanship of the Minister of Justice of the Republic of Armenia Srbui Galyan.
