Commonwealth of Independent States Secretary-General Sergey Lebedev, in an interview with RIA Novosti, discussed the organization’s results from the past year and major tasks for the current year, the celebration of the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War 1941-1945 and upcoming significant events in the life of the CIS. He also spoke about new economic projects, the fight against terrorism and extremism on Commonwealth territory, the migration situation, the transition to settlements in rubles, and interaction with Moldova and Ukraine.
