Interaction within the Commonwealth to consolidate efforts in combating malignant diseases is conducted in accordance with the Concept of Cooperation in Countering Oncological Diseases, approved by the CIS Heads of Government Council in 2016.
The document defines the main principles of cooperation among Commonwealth states in the fields of prevention, early diagnosis, and treatment of oncological diseases, as well as medical, economic, legal, and social measures aimed at preserving and strengthening human health and maintaining active longevity.
