The 12th meeting of the CIS Interstate Environmental Council was held online on 18 September.
The Council considered issues related to the management of production and consumption waste, the use of information technologies for environmental activities, and raising environmental awareness and promoting an eco-friendly lifestyle.
The Council also discussed:
- combating climate change and its consequences;
- introducing the principles of green economy and circular economy;
- ensuring the safe management of obsolete pesticides.
