Head of CIS Executive Committee Press Service Participates in Meeting of VISION 3000 International Discussion Club

On March 4, 2026, a meeting of the VISION 3000 International Discussion Club was held at the Moscow House of Nationalities with the support of the Moscow Government (Department of National Policy and Interregional Relations of the City of Moscow). The theme was “Bridge Across Generations: Continuity, Mentorship, and Collective Memory”.

The event brought together representatives of federal and regional government bodies, public figures, and experts in the fields of culture, business, and international cooperation.

The meeting was moderated by Alfiya Amirova, President of the VISION 3000 International Discussion Club and President of the Regional Public Organization “International Women’s Union”. Those gathered discussed what constitutes the cultural code of a nation and the role of women in its preservation; mentorship as a strategic resource and the social responsibility of business; and how traditional values help build dialogue without borders.

Head of Press Service Svetlana Malinina participated in the discussion club meeting on behalf of the CIS Executive Committee.

In her address, she spoke in detail about the large-scale work being carried out in the Commonwealth countries to preserve the common cultural code and historical memory, and particularly noted the contribution of CIS media and the unique MIR TV channel in covering these processes and creating a unified information space uniting millions of people across the post-Soviet area. Svetlana Malinina also touched upon the work of the CIS Information Council and the CIS Council of Television and Radio Broadcasters, spoke about cooperation with news agencies, and reminded those gathered that this year marks the 35th anniversary of the Commonwealth of Independent States.
