From August 4 to 7, 2026, the annual conference entitled “Current Trends in Plant Breeding, Seed Production and Commercial Production of Vegetable, Cucurbit and Flower Crops: Traditions, Challenges and Prospects” is taking place in the Odintsovo Urban District, Moscow Region, Russian Federation.
The conference is organized by the CIS basic organization for professional development and retraining in the field of plant breeding and seed production of vegetable and potato crops, the Federal Russian Scientific Center for Vegetable Growing with the support of the CIS Executive Committee. This year marks the 13th edition of the conference.
During the conference, participants will discuss key issues relevant to the CIS member states, including priority areas in plant breeding under current market conditions, modern cultivation technologies, and organizational and economic aspects of plant breeding and seed production.
