A shooting championship using standard-issue firearms, held as part of the 17th Spartakiad of the Friendly Armies of the CIS Member States, concluded in Kyrgyzstan on August 6, 2026.
The Armed Forces of the Kyrgyz Republic demonstrated a high level of professional training, accuracy, composure and skill, taking first place in the overall team standing.
Final standings:
1st place – Kyrgyz Republic;
2nd place – Republic of Kazakhstan;
3rd place – Russian Federation;
4th place – Republic of Uzbekistan;
5th place – Republic of Belarus.
The championship was organized to a high standard and was held in an atmosphere of fair competition, mutual respect, and military brotherhood.
The competition made an important contribution to improving the professional training of servicemen, facilitating the exchange of experience, developing military-applied sports, and strengthening friendly and partnership ties among the armed forces of the CIS member states.
