The delegation heads, CIS Secretary-General Sergey Lebedev, CSTO Secretary-General Imangali Tasmagambetov and SCO Secretary-General Nurlan Yermekbayev, led their respective delegations.

The parties thoroughly discussed the state and prospects of their trilateral cooperation and exchanged views on current international and regional issues. They noted that their three organizations share common goals:

-  strengthening peace, stability, and security in their respective regions of activity;

-  developing mutually beneficial practical cooperation.

The SCO Secretary-General informed his counterparts about the results of the SCO Heads of State Council meeting, which took place on September 1, 2025, in Tianjin, China. Acting on the mandate from the leaders of the member states, Mr. Yermekbayev handed Mr. Lebedev a letter addressed to the Chairman of the CIS Heads of State Council, President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon. The letter concerned the SCO’s application to acquire observer status in the Commonwealth.
