Moscow International Film Week is being held for the third time and will run until 30 August. Expert discussions with professionals from Russia, India, Thailand, Turkey and other countries will be held as part of the event. The business programme is scheduled for 27 and 28 August at the Moskino film studio.
Moscow occupies a leading position among CIS film production hubs and has the potential to become a key platform uniting companies from the Commonwealth, Asia and the Middle East. This is stated in the study “Screen Without Borders: Cinema and Audiences in the CIS”, prepared for the Moscow International Film Week.
According to the authors’ assessment, Moscow’s key advantages are its rebate system and developed film production infrastructure.
