Participants of the ninth International Mountain Road Rally of the Intergovernmental Council of Road Builders, representing the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Kyrgyz Republic and the Republic of Kazakhstan, as well as participants of the international scientific and practical conferences on the state, challenges, and developments of roads of the countries mentioned above, held as part of the Rally, note that developing and improving the international road network, particularly in mountainous areas, is one of the key tasks of the transport ministries of the CIS member states. They also note that bringing existing roads up to required standards is impossible without introducing new and advanced technologies.
The participants attach great importance to preserving and developing the road network as an important part of the national heritage of the CIS member states. They support positive developments in the fields of engineering surveys, design, construction, and operation of safe, high-quality roads, as well as efforts to strengthen the traditional friendship among road builders and peoples and promote integration among the CIS member states for their social and economic development.
