The Regional Commonwealth in the Field of Communications (RCC) Commission on the Regulation of the Usage of Radio Frequency Spectrum and Satellite Orbit holds its 30th meeting in Cholpon-Ata, Kyrgyzstan.
Ahead of the Commission meeting the RCC held a panel session as a traditional platform to discuss current issues of spectrum regulation. The discussion covered the evolution of mobile networks through 2030 in the context of the development of next-generation networks, including 5G-Advanced and 6G, specific aspects of radio frequency spectrum regulation and key trends in the development of D2D technologies. Kyrgyzstan’s experience in implementing D2D technologies was found useful.
The panel session is attended by representatives of a number of international organizations (Huawei, Viasat, Policy Impact Partners, etc.).
The 30th meeting will work till August 21.
