On 20 August 2026, a regular meeting of the expert group to coordinate the draft General Provisions on the Basic Organizations of the Commonwealth of Independent States Member States was held at the CIS Executive Committee office in Moscow, using videoconferencing.
The meeting was attended by representatives of ministries and agencies of the Republic of Belarus, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic, the Russian Federation, the Republic of Tajikistan, the Permanent Plenipotentiary Representative of the Republic of Belarus to the CIS Statutory and Other Bodies, as well as representatives of the CIS Executive Committee.
The experts agreed on the text of the draft General Provisions and proposed to send it for consideration by the highest CIS bodies.
