CIS Secretary-General Sergey Lebedev sent a message of greetings to the Forum's organizers, participants, and guests.

In his address, Mr. Lebedev emphasized that CIS member states pay great attention to cooperation in the tourism sector, which serves as a strong foundation for developing contacts, enhancing communication, and strengthening friendship and good-neighborly relations among the peoples of the Commonwealth.

The Secretary-General stressed that mutual tourist visits contribute to the transmission of spiritual and cultural values across generations and help to preserve a shared historical heritage, including the memory and truth about the feat and the Victory of the Soviet people in the Great Patriotic War of 1941–1945.

According to Sergey Lebedev, the Forum is a reputable platform for interaction and joint work by tourism and hospitality organizations from CIS countries to create and promote interstate tourism projects.

“This year, the Forum is hosted by the Republic of Dagestan, a region with great tourism potential thanks to its mild climate, stunning natural beauty, mountain and sea landscapes, clean air, rich cultural history and traditions, and, of course, its famed Caucasian hospitality. The Forum's focus on mountain tourism showcases these attractions,” Sergey Lebedev noted.

Sergey Lebedev wished the organizers, participants, and guests of the Travel HUB “Commonwealth” International Tourism Forum inspiring ideas for implementing joint tourism initiatives, vivid impressions from the hospitable land of Dagestan, fruitful meetings, and success in their professional endeavors.
