The final of the International Youth Project of the Commonwealth of Independent States “100 Ideas for the CIS” took place in Astana on November 20, 2025.
CIS Secretary-General Sergey Lebedev sent a greeting to the contest’s organizers and participants.
In his address, he noted the symbolic nature of the Project’s final being held in Astana. This city, born at the crossroads of cultures and traditions, provides the perfect setting for a gathering of young innovators. With its future-oriented architecture and spirit of creation, Astana creates an ideal atmosphere for the birth and realization of bold and ambitious ideas.
“The final events of the “100 Ideas for the CIS” Project represents a unique platform where bright and talented young people present innovative solutions, showing the creative energy of the younger generation”, – emphasized Sergey Lebedev.
He expressed his confidence that the exhibition of original works would once again demonstrate the immense potential of the Commonwealth’s youth in various fields – from technological innovations and social initiatives to cultural projects and environmental solutions.
“Every new idea presented is an opportunity to change the world for the better, strengthen integration ties, and create a foundation for a prosperous future for our countries and the Commonwealth as a whole”, – stated the CIS Secretary-General’s greeting.
In conclusion, Sergey Lebedev expressed his wish that the current final of the International Project “100 Ideas for the CIS” would become a launchpad for realizing the participants’ ideas and the beginning of long-term cooperation among the young leaders of the Commonwealth.
