Head of CIS Observer Mission Igor Petrishenko: Elections in Kyrgyzstan Held in Full Compliance with Constitution and Electoral Legislation

The CIS Observer Mission has concluded that the early elections of deputies to the Jogorku Kenesh (the Parliament) of the Kyrgyz Republic on November 30, 2025, were conducted in full compliance with the Constitution and electoral legislation of the country. That was stated by the Mission Head Igor Petrishenko during a press conference dedicated to the outcomes of monitoring the preparation and conduct of the electoral campaign.

 

He also noted that the CIS Observer Mission did not identify any significant violations during the elections.

“The isolated shortcomings recorded by observers were of a technical nature and were promptly addressed by precinct election commissions. No violations that could have affected the election results were identified by the Mission”, – emphasized Igor Petrishenko.

He stated that the voting in the parliamentary elections proceeded in a calm atmosphere. The Central, district, and precinct election commissions took the necessary measures to prepare and conduct the elections at a high organizational level.

“The Mission concluded that the elections were open, fair, competitive, in line with the principles of democratic elections, and ensured the free expression of will by the citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic”, – declared the Head of the CIS Observer Mission.

In conclusion, Igor Petrishenko congratulated the people of Kyrgyzstan on the completion of the election campaign, wishing them success, prosperity, peace, and well-being.

“Together, you have determined the future of the country by electing worthy representatives to parliament who will work for the benefit of all residents of the republic”, – summarized Igor Petrishenko.
