The 32nd regular meeting of the Interstate Coordination Council for Scientific and Technical Information was held in Moscow on November 28, 2025.
The meeting was attended by representatives from:
– the Republic of Belarus;
– the Kyrgyz Republic;
– the Russian Federation;
– the Republic of Tajikistan;
– the CIS Executive Committee;
– the CIS basic organization for interstate exchange of scientific and technical information, the All-Russian Institute for Scientific and Technical Information;
– the State Public Scientific and Technical Library of Russia;
– the Tatarstan Center for Scientific and Technical Information (as observers).
Current issues in the field of interstate exchange of scientific and technical information were discussed, as well as reports from the Council members on the situation in the field of scientific and technical information in the CIS member states.
The Council members were informed about the progress in reviewing the draft of the new version of the Concept for Creating the CIS Patent and Innovation Bank. The main goal of the Concept is to create favorable conditions for accelerating the interstate exchange of scientific and technical information, implementing the results of scientific and technical activities, and increasing the efficiency of information support for innovative activities of the CIS member states.
The next meeting of the Council is planned for the first half of 2026.
