The CIS internet portal published an article by Rustam Khaidarzoda, Director of the Institute for Asian and European Studies at the National Academy of Sciences of Tajikistan, analyzing the results of the 59th plenary session of the Interparliamentary Assembly of the CIS Member States, held on November 14, 2025, in Dushanbe, Tajikistan. He believes the CIS legislators’ forum was organized at a high international level and demonstrated the unity and cohesion of the CIS countries, united for a shared and bright future.
As Rustam Emomali, Chairman of the Majlisi Milli Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan and Mayor of Dushanbe, emphasized in his welcoming speech: “This organization has functioned for over thirty years as an important platform for exchanging experiences, coordinating legislative initiatives, and developing solutions aimed at strengthening cooperation among the CIS member states”.
During its 2025 CIS chairmanship, Tajikistan has made significant progress in strengthening parliamentary cooperation among the CIS member states.
