The roundtable “Partnership opportunities in supporting inclusive culture in society: from charitable acts to interstate projects” was held at the CIS Executive Committee headquarters on December 12,2025.
The forum was attended by:
– spouses of heads of diplomatic missions;
– representatives of the CIS Executive Committee;
– heads of specialized children's institutions.
The common goal of the participants of the event was to develop a unified mechanism for effective work for the benefit of children with special needs.
Opening the event, CIS First Deputy Secretary-General Igor Petrishenko noted that the CIS strategic documents consistently emphasize the importance of humanistic values as the basis of cooperation between the countries of the Commonwealth.
An inclusive art gallery “Light inside. The seasons through the eyes of special children” and an exhibition of the artworks of pupils of the National Center for Artistic Creativity of Children and Youth was presented during the meeting. Each picture is a sincere story about the world, seen through the prism of the unique perception of children with disabilities.
