The main agenda items of the fourth meeting of the CIS Basic Organization in the field of notarial activities were:
- hearing the activity report;
- approving the plan for 2026.
The event was held online. Participants included heads and representatives of notary bodies from:
- Armenia;
- Belarus;
- Kazakhstan;
- Kyrgyzstan;
- Russia;
- Uzbekistan;
- Tajikistan.
On behalf of the CIS Executive Committee, Irina Tselikovets, Executive Secretary of the CIS Council of Ministers of Justice, delivered a welcoming address. She noted the high level of organization in the activities of the CIS Basic Organization in the field of notarial activities in 2025 and emphasized the significance of implemented initiatives regarding the exchange of practical experience among notaries and professional development, particularly the implementation of the educational project “Notary Academy” in the outgoing year.
Chairperson of the Belarusian Notary Chamber and Head of the Basic Organization Yelena Grinkevich presented the activity report for 2025, as well as the agenda for 2026. Among the upcoming events are a series of educational webinars on various topics and a joint round table with the CIS Commission of Commissioners for Children’s Rights (Ombudspersons).
The meeting participants supported the proposed initiatives, noting that the adopted decisions will allow the CIS Basic Organization in the field of notarial activities to continue operating on a systematic basis, and that the planned events will provide an impetus for the development of cooperation.
