According to the CIS Interstate Statistical Committee, for January-October 2025 compared to the corresponding period of the previous year, GDP across the CIS as a whole grew by 2.1%. All the CIS member states showed positive dynamics. The highest growth rates were observed in the following countries:
- Kyrgyzstan: +10%;
- Tajikistan: +8.2%;
- Uzbekistan: +7.6%.
Industrial production, commercial freight transport, and retail trade turnover continued to grow. Overall in the CIS for the ten months of 2025, industrial output increased by 1.6% (compared to 5% in January-October 2024), commercial freight transport (excluding pipeline transport) grew by 2.8% (compared to 6.5%), and retail trade turnover increased by 3.6% (compared to 8.2%).

The Interstate Statistical Committee of the CIS is an official disseminator of statistical information on the social and economic situation of the CIS countries.
The Committee was established in accordance with the decision of the CIS Heads of Government in December 1991 to:
- coordinate the activities of statistical organizations of the CIS countries;
- develop and implement a unified statistical methodology on the basis of mutual consultations;
- ensure comparability and continuity of statistical analyses;
- facilitate wide-scale information exchange within the framework of the CIS;
- organizing seminars;
- employ other forms of assistance to national statistical services.
The Committee is entrusted with creating and maintaining a common statistical database.
