Basic organizations of the CIS member states make a significant contribution to developing humanitarian cooperation across the Commonwealth. This is a well-established form of interstate cooperation that enables monitoring and experience exchange, improving the training and professional development of specialists, and strengthening professional contacts.
The CIS Council for Cultural Cooperation pays considerable attention to the work of basic organizations. Issues concerning their activities are reviewed annually at Council meetings.
In accordance with approved regulations, basic organizations carry out:
– training, retraining, and advanced training of specialists in relevant fields;
– developing educational programs for higher and postgraduate (professional) education, considering the needs of the CIS member states;
– conducting joint scientific research;
– developing, testing, and sharing methodological and research materials;
– exchanging experience by holding conferences, symposia, round tables, seminars;
– developing and implementing joint projects and programs;
– conducting master classes and exchanging performing groups;
– coordinating work on introducing new technologies.
Thus, basic organizations play an important role and serve as a practical tool for deepening integration processes, providing expert and methodological support, and contributing to the formation of a common humanitarian space of the Commonwealth of Independent States.
