On January 27, a traditional meeting took place in Moscow between Sergey Lavrov and ambassadors of the Commonwealth of Independent States member states accredited to Russia. CIS Secretary-General Sergey Lebedev and heads of executive bodies of other Eurasian structures also participated in the meeting.
The conversation proceeded in a friendly atmosphere. The participants exchanged views on current international topics and reviewed the outcomes of multilateral cooperation within Eurasian integration associations in 2025. Tasks for the near future were outlined, including strengthening foreign policy coordination, enhancing interaction in trade, economic, cultural, and humanitarian spheres, as well as in the field of ensuring regional security.
