On February 5, a large-scale concert titled “Roads of Memory”, dedicated to preserving the historical memory of the events of the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945, was held in Tashkent.
The event took place at the “Zarafshan” cinema and concert hall and brought together over 500 participants, including diplomats, students, and representatives of the cultural and creative intelligentsia.
The concert was the key event of the visit by a delegation from the Public Council at Rossotrudnichestvo. The visit served to summarize the joint work of Russia and Uzbekistan in the field of preserving historical heritage related to the events of the Second World War.
Before the concert, guests visited the “Victory Park” memorial complex, where they viewed the updated exhibition, translated into Russian with the support of the Public Council.
During the visit, the exhibition “Together in the Fight Against Nazism” was also presented, dedicated to the feat of the Soviet people and Uzbekistan’s contribution to achieving the Victory in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945.
Holding such events contributes to strengthening historical memory and developing humanitarian cooperation between Russia and Uzbekistan.
