On February 27, 2026, a meeting within the framework of the CIS Council of Heads of Chambers of was held via videoconference.
The meeting was attended by heads and representatives of chambers of commerce and industry of the CIS member states, as well as the CIS Executive Committee.
The meeting was dedicated to the Plan of Main Activities of the Council of Heads of Chambers of the CIS Member States for 2026 under the chairmanship of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
A comprehensive Plan of Main Activities of the Council for 2026 was approved:
- meeting of the Working Group on Congress and Exhibition Activities under the Council (Q2, Dushanbe);
- participation in the Forum of Permanent Arbitration Institutions at the Chambers of the CIS Member States on International Commercial Arbitration (May);
- participation in the International Economic Forum “Russia – Islamic World: KazanForum” (May 12-17, Kazan, Republic of Tatarstan, Russian Federation);
- videoconference meeting to review results of the first half of 2026 and discuss work plans for the second half of 2026, as well as problematic issues (June);
- participation in the International Exhibition “BELAGRO-2026” (June 2-6, Minsk, Republic of Belarus);
- participation in the 16th International Industrial Exhibition “INNOPROM” (July 6-9, Yekaterinburg, Russian Federation);
- Council meeting within the framework of the 2nd International Industrial Exhibition “INNOPROM.Belarus” (third ten-day period of September, Minsk);
- videoconference meeting on the results of 2026 and plans for 2027 (December).
