A meeting was held in Moscow between Head of the CIS Anti-Terrorism Center Evgeny Sysoev and the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Russian Federation Daulet Abayev.
During the meeting, the parties noted with satisfaction that the long-standing fruitful interaction between the CIS ATC and the competent authorities of Kazakhstan allows for concrete positive results across all main areas of joint activity and continues to progressively develop.
Evgeny Sysoev highlighted the effective work of the national system for countering terrorism and extremism in the Republic and the country’s significant contribution to counterterrorism cooperation within the Commonwealth space. Furthermore, the Head of the Center emphasized the traditionally high level of representation of Kazakhstan’s competent authorities at international events organized by the CIS ATC.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the heads of the diplomatic and international missions expressed confidence in the further strengthening of collective efforts to ensure security in the CIS.
