Second CIS International Legal Forum to Take Place in Minsk in May 2026

As part of events dedicated to the 35th anniversary of the CIS, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus, together with the CIS Executive Committee, is preparing the second International Legal Forum of the Commonwealth.

The Forum “International Legal Dialogue in the CIS: Traditions of Cooperation and Response to Contemporary Challenges” will be held in Minsk on May 13–14, 2026.

The event platform will traditionally combine a plenary session format and thematic section work, where a wide range of issues are planned for discussion:

  • features of modern international legal policy of states;
  • new branches and directions in the development of international law;
  • international law in the system of legal education;
  • law of regional integration;
  • enhancing effectiveness and developing dispute resolution mechanisms.

Representatives of government bodies, scientific and legal communities are invited to participate in the Forum.
