On March 23, 2026, the first meeting of the expert group on the draft Treaty (Agreement) on the Establishment of the Council of Heads of Enforcement Authorities of the CIS Member States was held in Moscow via videoconference.
The meeting was attended by representatives of the Republic of Armenia, the Republic of Belarus, the Russian Federation, the Republic of Tajikistan, the Commission on Economic Affairs under the CIS Economic Council, and the CIS Executive Committee.
The participants discussed approaches to reviewing the drafts submitted by Russia and Tajikistan and agreed to convene the next meeting on April 30, 2026. The consolidated draft Treaty (Agreement) on the Establishment of the Council of Heads of Enforcement Authorities of the CIS Member States prepared on the basis of the two above-mentioned drafts will be considered at that meeting.
