On April 10, 2026, a meeting of the Permanent Conference under the Head of the CIS Anti-Terrorism Center was held in Moscow.
The meeting was attended by representatives of competent authorities from nine Commonwealth countries (Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Moldova, Russia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan), as well as representatives from four bodies and two CIS basic organizations:
- Executive Bureau of the Council of Heads of Security Agencies and Special Services;
- Council of the Border Troops Commanders;
- Council of Heads of Financial Intelligence Units;
- Coordination Council of Prosecutors General;
- Basic Organization for Training Personnel in the Field of Countering Terrorism and Extremism;
- Basic Organization for Research on Problems of Countering Terrorism and Other Manifestations of Extremism.
Participants discussed the most significant events in the foreign and domestic policies of the Commonwealth countries affecting the security of the member states, exchanged current assessments of the situation in the field of countering terrorism and extremism against the backdrop of growing international and military-political tensions and trends in its development.
The meeting was held in an atmosphere of trust and substantive dialogue.
