MGLU is a co-organizer of the international project “The Young Translators’ School “Russia-Kyrgyzstan” which is conducted by the Institute for Literary Translation (Institut perevoda) - our great friends and long-time partners.
Applications for the Russian-Kyrgyz literary translation competition are now open, the winners of which will go to Moscow to attend the Young Translators’ School: attend master classes of the Russian best translators, listen to lectures on the theory and practice of translation and exchange professional experience. All expenses (travel, accommodation, meal, training) are for the account of the organizers.
Participants:
Young translators aged 18-35 from Russia and Kyrgyzstan
Important dates:
before 16 April — to submit an application
before 20 April — to send the translated text
1-7 June — The Young Translators’ School “Russia- Kyrgyzstan”
