This year the Commonwealth of Independent States will celebrate its 35th anniversary. Over the past 35 years, the CIS has accumulated significant experience in long-term interaction with other integration associations, and this experience is largely positive, - CIS Secretary General Sergey Lebedev writes in his article for the Eurasian Dialogue magazine.
“It is no coincidence that the CIS is often called an “integration laboratory”: many formats, that were tested within the framework of the CIS, later developed in associations with more complex types of organization. <..> Thus, today our common task is to use the synergy of all integration associations in Eurasia to improve the well-being of citizens and develop business cooperation throughout the region,” emphasizes Sergey Lebedev.
