CIS Executive Committee Transfers Funds to Republican Scientific and Practical Centre for Pediatric Oncology, Hematology, and Immunology

Funds raised by the CIS Executive Committee staff have been transferred to the Republican Scientific and Practical Centre for Pediatric Oncology, Hematology, and Immunology.

CIS First Deputy Secretary-General Igor Petrishenko presented a certificate confirming the transfer to the Centre’s management on April 27, 2026, during the CIS Executive Committee delegation’s visit to the medical institution.

Presenting the certificate, Igor Petrishenko thanked the Centre’s staff for their professionalism and dedication.

He noted that the Republican Scientific and Practical Centre is one of the leading medical institutions in its field across the Commonwealth. That is why children come here for treatment not only from Belarus but also from other CIS countries for a fee.

In response, Angelika Solntseva, director of the Centre, told the delegation about the construction of the new Centre’s building, which is now in its final stage. It is planned to house modern surgical and intensive care units and a transplant department.

As a token of gratitude for the assistance that the CIS Executive Committee has been providing to the Centre for nineteen years, she presented the Committee staff with souvenirs from her young patients.

Angelika Solntseva emphasized that, as in previous years, the funds transferred will be used for the needs of the medical institution.
