CIS Heads of Capital City Departments of Internal Affairs Hold Meeting in Bishkek

On June 18, 2026, a meeting of the CIS Heads of Capital City Departments of the Internal Affairs took place in Bishkek.

 

The meeting was dedicated to countering the involvement of young people in criminal activities. It was attended by delegations of the capital city departments of the Ministries of Internal Affairs of Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan.

The meeting addressed the following issues:

  • measures to prevent minors and young people from participating in general crime offenses, including distribution of narcotic drugs and illegal fraudulent schemes;
  • countering the involvement of young people in extremist and radical groups aimed at committing unlawful acts intended to destabilize the socio-political situation;
  • measures to prevent the formation of radical anti-social views and the promotion of criminal activities among young people through the use of information and communication technologies and artificial intelligence.
