From October 28 to 31, Saint Petersburg will host a large-scale forum “Creative Economy Days” for the first time at the venue of the CIS Interparliamentary Assembly. The event will continue the tradition of the International Forum “Commonwealth of Fashion”, which has brought together industry experts at Tauride Palace for four years and this year will become part of the “Creative Economy Days” programme. The new platform expands the agenda to include 16 areas of creative industries: from gastronomy and architecture to traditional crafts and video games.
An important step towards implementing the project was the signing of a four-party agreement by the CIS Interparliamentary Assembly, the Federation Council of Russia, the Agency for Strategic Initiatives and the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum 2026.
Special attention at the forum will be paid to the legislative agenda, particularly intellectual property protection. The Assembly has already adopted a number of important documents for the industry, including the Model Law “On Creative Industries”, the Model Intellectual Property Code for the CIS Member States.
The Forum’s structure includes the sections dedicated to international trends analysis, specialist training, regional specialization, and the creation of industries that reduce import dependence. The organizers plan to preserve the popular formats of the forum: educational programmes, a tennis tournament, and the “Commonwealth of Fashion” award.
