From June 21 to 27, 2026, the International Professional Skills Competition for officers of internal affairs bodies responsible for road safety in CIS member states took place at the V.V. Lukyanov Oryol Law Institute of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation.
The initiative to hold the competition, proposed by Russian Minister of Internal Affairs and General of the Police of the Russian Federation Vladimir Kolokoltsev, was endorsed at a meeting of the CIS Council of Ministers of Internal Affairs held in St. Petersburg on August 12, 2025.
Delegations from ministries of internal affairs of Azerbaijan, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan took part in the event.
According to the results of the competitions:
first place was awarded to Police Captain Emil Ibragimov of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan;
second place went to Police Major Alexey Mukha of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Belarus;
third place was taken by Senior Police Lieutenant Daulethanuly Medet of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
