Development of Standards and Quality.CIS Journal under Discussion

A working meeting of representatives of the Russian Information Agency Standards and Quality, the national standards bodies of the CIS member states, and the Bureau for Standards was held on July 1, 2026. The meeting focused on the further publication and development of the Standards and Quality.CIS journal.

 

The meeting was attended by Tatiana Kiseleva, Editor-in-Chief of the Russian Information Agency Standards and Quality, as well as representatives of the national standards bodies of Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, and the Bureau for Standards.

The participants discussed mechanisms for organizing the journal’s subscription campaign, attracting advertisers, and establishing the editorial board including determining its composition and appointing the editor-in-chief and the chair of the editorial board. Particular attention was devoted to preparations for a special thematic issue of the journal, which is scheduled for publication ahead of the 70th meeting of the Interstate Council for Standardization, Metrology and Certification to be held in December 2026.

Following the meeting, representatives of the national standards bodies reaffirmed their commitment to continuing joint efforts to further develop the Standards and Quality.CIS journal.
