Young healthcare professionals are not merely a reserved workforce but the very foundation of the sustainable development of the healthcare systems. Today, the CIS Council for Cooperation in Healthcare builds its youth work around the key institutions and on the principles of continuous mentorship, integration, and academic mobility. By combining the energy of the younger generation with advanced technologies, the CIS basic organizations are creating a common scientific and educational environment across the Commonwealth.
The systematic work carried out by the CIS basic organizations enables young professionals to become involved in actual clinical practices and joint research projects at an early stage of their careers. Mentorship programmes, on-line learning and academic mobility facilitate the rapid transfer of the best clinical practices among the CIS member states. This gradual shift from traditional education to direct partnership helps cultivate a new generation of healthcare leaders and doctors. Ultimately, these efforts contribute to the sustainable development of national healthcare systems and improve access to high-quality medical care throughout the Commonwealth.
