Tajikistan to Host 20th CIS Delphic Games on October 5–9

The jubilee 20th CIS Youth Delphic Games will take place in Dushanbe, Republic of Tajikistan, on October 5–9, 2026.

 

The event will be held in accordance with the decision of the CIS Heads of Government Council On Key Cooperation Events of the CIS Member States in the Field of Culture for 2026–2028 adopted on March 13, 2026, and with the decision of the CIS Economic Council On Action Plan for the Events Dedicated to the 35th anniversary of the Commonwealth of Independent States adopted on December 5, 2026. The 20th CIS Delphic Games will be held under the patronage of the President of Tajikistan and the International Delphic Committee.

The Games aim to:

  • further develop the Delphic Games as the highest art forum;
  • facilitate professional growth of young artists;
  • strengthen ties between the CIS member states;
  • promote dialogue;
  • enhance the forms of aesthetic and artistic education;
  • preserve and further develop national cultures;
  • promote cooperation between the youth, artistic community and educational institutions of the CIS member states in the humanitarian field;
  • enhance event tourism and creative industries.

The competitive programme includes the following categories:

  • piano,
  • violin,
  • visual art,
  • academic singing,
  • solo folk singing,
  • pop singing,
  • folk dance.

The festival programme includes the following categories:

  • folk instruments,
  • wind instruments,
  • artistic craftsmanship.
