  • creation of comfortable urban environment while preserving historical heritage.

CIS Deputy Secretary-General Ilkhom Nematov sent a welcoming address to the organizers and participants, noting:

“It is no coincidence that the city of Novosibirsk was chosen as the venue for today’s event. As the largest scientific, industrial, and logistical center, it is a hub for business, innovation, technology, and investment. Recognized as one of the world’s fastest-growing megacities, Novosibirsk demonstrates in its modern architectural appearance a synthesis of the past and the future.

The issues of creating new urban spaces and their harmonious integration into historical buildings are more relevant than ever at the current stage. While meeting the demands of modern society for a comfortable environment, we must not forget to preserve our cultural identity”.

In conclusion, CIS Deputy Secretary-General Ilkhom Nematov expressed confidence that this expert platform would contribute to strengthening historical, cultural and professional ties to preserve the common heritage across the Commonwealth space and wished all participants fruitful and productive work.
