Roadmap for CIS, CSTO and SCO Cooperation Successfully Implemented

Having been signed in 2025, the roadmap for the development of cooperation between the Commonwealth of Independent States, the Collective Security Treaty Organization and the Shanghai Cooperation Organization is currently being successfully implemented. This was stated by CIS Secretary-General Sergey Lebedev during his address at the International Scientific-Practical Conference “Contours of a New Collective Security Architecture: Current Issues of Information-Analytical Partnership of the CSTO” at MGIMO University in Moscow.

According to Lebedev, the signing of the Roadmap confirmed the organizations’ intention to maintain and deepen their partnership relations with an emphasis on practical cooperation.

The document was signed on September 3 in Beijing, following a meeting of the senior administrative officials of the CSTO, CIS and SCO.

The roadmap reflects a shared commitment to shaping a new Eurasian security and to developing cooperation in the economic and cultural spheres.

Earlier, the “Victory Dictation”* (International historical action on the events of the Great Patriotic War) event took place in CIS countries. Participants answered questions on the history of the Great Patriotic War. Over 36,000 venues were opened across the Commonwealth.
